The Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppy Male is a vibrant and attractive aquarium fish. As the name suggests, it has a greenish-yellow body coloration with a snakeskin-like pattern. The pattern is formed by a series of irregular, dark green spots that are scattered all over the body, which gives it a unique appearance.
In addition to the striking coloration, the Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppy Male has elongated and flowing fins that add to its beauty. Its dorsal fin is particularly long and has a distinct black marking that runs along its edge, while the caudal fin is split into two parts, giving it a fan-like appearance.
Male Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppies are generally smaller than females, with a maximum size of 4 cm. They are also known for their active and lively nature, which makes them great additions to community aquariums. They are relatively hardy and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions, but they prefer slightly alkaline water with a pH between 7.0 and 7.2, a temperature range of 22-28°C, and moderate to high water hardness.
In terms of diet, the Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppy Male is an omnivore and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms. It is important to feed them a balanced diet to ensure their health and vibrant coloration.
When it comes to tank mates, the Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppy Male is peaceful and can be housed with other peaceful community fish that are similar in size. However, they should not be housed with aggressive or fin-nipping fish as this can damage their fins and stress them out.
Overall, the Green Snakeskin Cobra Guppy Male is an excellent choice for beginner aquarists who want an easy-to-care-for and visually appealing fish to add to their aquarium.

This was a beautiful, healthy looking fish. Unfortunately he died after one day. The stress of shipping and moving home must have been too much for him. The other 8 guppies I had shipped with him are grand, so it’s a bit of a mystery. Such a shame, he was stunning!
